I have an appt at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA on Monday Sept 24 for consultation re:treatment of a football size abdominal sarcoma.(not leiomeio that much success is reported from a new drug). The exact name is: Plemorphic spindle cell sarcoma with myxoid stroma. Surgery for this tumor (Jan 01) was unsuccessful. I have been receiving chemotherapy since Feb. (doxil -- not effective and ifosfomide which has only kept it at bay.)

This is an extremely rare kind of tumor. Is there anyone out there who has any information on this. Any suggestions as to what to ask in the consult?
