Miami Florida -- Wigs?

My daughter (31 years old) and I are from Massachusetts, but came to Miami for 2 months so she could have surgery for recurrent cancer surgery. She needs to start chemotherapy while she is here, and is going to be losing her hair. I found a listing of wig suppliers on the American Cancer Society website, but have no way of knowing which one(s) would be recommended for most realistic wigs at the best prices.

Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions on how to get recommendations on her best choices?

Thanks for any help that can be provided?

-Ovarian cancer, correct?

What I would do is wait until the hair loss occurs, follow these instructions to start the process (skip the psychiatrist - nuisance and would probably charge a fee ) http://www.asante.org/StandardPage.asp?MenuID=459 Then take her to the decided shop (see below), have her try some on and decide.

But before she gets to that point, when you have a chance, check one shop near the hospital and at least, one further away. Try comparison shopping for similar "model/style". This is just in case her insurance doesn't cover it (or fully cover) and the shops further away have better pricing.

-I found Paula Young wigs the cheapest and had a great selection. Many under $50 ..they do not last long but for the price you can't go wrong.
