Cactus chemotherapy preparation question

A friend of mine ordered a peruvian torch a little over a foot tall. Eager but do not look forward to the nausea so often reported. Whats the best method of preparation for preventing or controlling this, but w/o losing much of the potency of raw ingestion?

Also, with raw ingestion, how long does the nausea at the onset last? Does motion sickness chemotherapy help (in some reports)? and if so, how long before should one take medication. Any other tips to handle this unpleasant effect? (I know in the mists of madness, one usually won't care, but I just want to be prepared)

---------------------

-1. Ingest (in whatever form) skowly, over an hour.

2. One toke of cannabis as you start ingestion may help.

3. Ginger root, and/or peppermint and/or chamomile tea, may help.

4. Don't eat the spines, or the woody center, try not not eat the outer tough, whitish cuticle, but you do want the tough green skin layer under it and these are hard to separate.

5. You could also try a normal dose of drammamine, or whatever.

6. There are some specialized chemotherapy antinausea meds that might help, but they're prescription drugs.

7. Once the effects have started, give it another hour or two for complete absorbtion, then if you still feel nausea, go ahead and throw up, this will probably greatly help.
