Chemotherapy Induced Nausea

Does anybody have any experience with electrical devices which are supposed to reduce the nausea and vomiting post chemotherapy induced? This device is strapped on the wrist and is apparently FDA approved too I read in many places that ginger can help reduce nausea simptoms during pregnancy. You that have used it can please tell me what kidn of ginger u used? tablets? what dosage? tea?

---------------------

-I am just coming up to 10 weeks and am feeling much better having spent the last 6 weeks being really ill. I tried everything including ginger and don't really think anything helped that much, the only thing that helped me was keeping my head really still, moving slowly and not trying to do anything much. At the worst I was sleeping with my head raised up and that seemed to help.

I tried: ginger - 1 teaspoon grated into hot water, didnt work crystalised ginger - didnt work peppermint - a few leaves in hot water, didnt work travel bands - elastic things that you wear on your wrists that apply pressure to a point supposed to stop nausea - didnt work but hurt slightly, thus taking my mind off things! dry toast/crackers etc - no use

-I'm in medical research (internal medicine) in Jerusalem and the following is an hypothesis that *may* be effective in reducing chemotherapy-induced nausea. In any case, check with your oncologist BEFORE attempting this.
