Will homeopathy chemotherapy for prostate cancer work?

I have prostate cancer and two different urologist say I need surgery to remove my prostate. My Gleason score is 6 and my PSA is 44, cancer was found on 3 of ten biopsy samples. Being like most people I want to avoid surgery, chemotherapy or radiation if possible.

As an alternative, I’ve been taking a homeopathy treatment prescribed by a doctor of osteopathic medicine for the last 3 months. She is using the principles in the book written by A. U. Ramakrishman, A Homeopathic Approach to Cancer. On alternating weeks I take Conium 200c and Medorrhinum 200c using what is referred to as the Plussing Method.

Has anyone tried or heard of any success with such a treatment? Are there other alternative treatments I might try?

-You don't say how old you are or what your state of health is. You also don't say what the stage of the disease is. That is, is anything detectable by digital rectal exam. All those factors can affect whether it makes sense to have surgery. Presumably your urologists have taken those factors into consideration. In this website, we can't give you professional medical advice, but we may be able to tell you if what your doctors are telling you is standard and whether or not it is worth seeking more opinions. But with a Gleason of 6 and a PSA of 44, unless your life expectancy is less than 10 years aside from the cancer, a recommendation for surgery doesn't sound unusual.

-Go to a Dr. of Prostate Caner. There are many...You can try other alternatives..... but please see a Dr. that works with prostate cancer people. It may be your only chance! So far your story is 2 out of 3....Are you waiting for a miricle.....none exist....get treatment....John Loomis 51 years old, prostate cancer, radical prsostatectomy, doing fine, radiation may help also with cancer out of the bed of the prostate..
