Standard Medicine is limited to: Surgery, Radiation and Chemotherapy. After the cancer has been cut or burned out, only Chemotherapy is left.

The best estimate that I can find for a five year remission rate using chemotherapy, after surgery and radiation has failed, is 5%.

Now to Alternative cancer "cures".

Those herbal cures, used before Chemotherapy was even born, have been found to have a cure rate of approximately 80%.

Now comes my point - The 5% cure rate seen in chemotherapy could be written off because, most cancer patients quit smoking, quit drinking, go on a good diet and, in general, change their life styles OR perhaps they have had what physicians call a "Spontaneous Remission", ie they just got well on their own.

When you consider who to trust, should you not consider the above ?

-My mother was diagnosed with AML at age 58. When the diagnosis occurred, she had a white count over 200,000. By good rights, she should have been dead already.

After a full round of chemo, she went into remission for two years -- it was amazing she got that long, considering how virulent AML is in older people.

Now I'm willing to give the glory to God, if you don't think the doctor deserves it :) (and apparently you don't) but to say chemo doesn't work at all (5%? where did you get THAT statistic?) is just plain nuts. I think you need to go back and rework the numbers.

-Actually you are wrong. There are two types of people who monitor this group.

(1) The people who actually have cancer and deal with it's problems and decisions every day.

(2) The profiteers, who don't have cancer, but are willing to do and say anything in order to maintain their income stream tricked out of desperate people.
