any decent antimicrobial chemotherapy?

Antibiotics, orally, haven't worked for my multi-year sinus problems. I have no discharge but I do have inflammation of the maxillary sinus walls
(esp. right), and associated eye problems.

So now I'm thinking to rinse some ________ in the sinuses, where the
_________ would have an antimicrobial (no one knows if my problem is bacterial, fungal, parasitic, etc. so I want the broadest scope killing solution possible) affect.

Can anyone please fill in the blank above? And I've read about silver sprays but I don't think that's right for me considering I need mass volume to rinse out the sinuses, and I suspect there would be problems at that point. Any decent antimicrobial chemotherapy?

-What you are experiencing may just be severe chronic inflammation from the disease without any specific infection. Are you using topical steroids on a regular basis? Many chronic sinusitis sufferers can only control symptoms at best, without a definitive cure.

-Have you heard about GSE (grapefruit seed extract)? It comes in a liquid to be taken internally and/or added to irrigation water. It is said to have helped many people. I tried it during one bout and it seemed to let me get thru without having to take antibiotics. I was thinking about getting some more to retry, since I seem to have misplaced it, but just did a bout of antibiotics which so far have not opened up my passages. Just a thought, it can get bought at health food stores and comes with directions. One of those citrus type killers.
