ABVD Chemotherapy - Sour aftertaste after eating?

I read a few people on this group who stated that they had lost their sense of taste after starting chemo. I'm on ABVD for my Hodgkin's and started treatment Friday. I noticed that yesterday and today after anything I eat, about a minute later, I get a sour but bland aftertaste in my mouth. Like the taste when you wake up in the morning. And this holds for anything I've eaten, sweet or bitter or bland.

ANyone else experience this?

---------------------

-After my first chemo I was throwing stuff in the bin left right and centre, until my sister told they that they had NOT gone off! I was not warned, but my sense of taste was weird for about two to three days after each session. It soon wears off, however, so don't worry. You will be enjoying your food again very soon.

I also found that I got thrush after each treatment, and had medication for that - nystatin, it wasn't too much a problem however. Takes a lot to stop me eating anyway

-I've had one ABVD chemotherapy treatment (well, two doses in one treatment, oncology math is funny) and a week later, the massive and painful swelling and throat compression, and chronic exhaustion and flu-like symptoms caused by my Hodgkin's have disappeared. Yes, I know I still have cancer and it will come back if I stop the treatments at one. Yes, I know I will be singing a different tune when I am wretching in the toilet and have no taste buds the three days after my next treatment. Yes, I will probably feel differently if and/or when my hair falls out. Yes, my right arm hurts where the ABVD was injected, especially the 'D' and I'll probably damage my veins from it.
